Born and raised in the small town of Hettinger, North Dakota, Ben Werre developed a strong work ethic early on in life by spending his high school years balancing working on cars for the local dealership, golf, and football. After graduation, he moved to Jamestown, ND. Here, he spent over a year farming with his uncle and working as a mechanic at Wilhelm Motors. It was during this time that Ben discovered his true calling in the insurance industry.

Ben later moved to Fargo, ND, where he spent over three years as an insurance agent with another company before joining the Farmers Union Insurance family. He decided to make the switch because he wanted to go beyond just selling insurance. Ben wanted to truly help people by developing benefit strategies while providing long-term support. Taking the extra time to make sure he was helping people achieve their insurance goals so they were positioned well both now and into the future is one of the most fulfilling parts of what he does.

In his career, he’s successfully helped thousands of clients secure their supplemental insurance needs, assisted with hundreds of claims, and regularly consults with local companies on their employee benefits packages. Ben’s commitment to client success is reflected in every aspect of his work.

Outside of the insurance world, Ben is a trained private security guard, avid hunter, and golfer, and loves hiking in the mountains or diving into a good book. He’s also dedicated to serving his local church in Fargo, ND while staying active in the community.
Driven by goals and a passion for helping others, Ben is focused on making a lasting impact on his community and staying ahead in the ever-changing world of insurance for the good of his clients.
